How does approximately a millimeter's difference in the length of an optical connection account for 60 nanoseconds (that's roughly 60 feet of travel at the speed of light in vacuum or normal-density air) of delay?????? Or do we have that much path as the light from the single-mode optical fiber is bouncing around trying to find the single-mode input?

Nah, it's made of cat hairs.

It's well known that cat hairs get everywhere, and that the majority of the missing mass in the universe is actually cat hairs.

Belive me --- I live with four of the buggers and cat hairs really do get everywhere.

I thought all the missing mass was the male-bovine-manure that the politicians speak. That stuff has to go somewhere. If not there, then where does it go?
