Default New user - Memoy query and Merging CPUs

Hi I'm new to GIMPS (started last night). I'm running the software on my DELL XPSM1530 with Intel Core2 Duo T7500 @ 2.20GHz. Using 90MB (day) and 200MB (night). The questions I have are:

1. Is this a decent memory use setting or do you think I could use more? My computer has 2GB of memory.

2. On my 'accounts' page I noticed I had 2 different CPUs, one of which I don't recognise at all (Intel Pentium 4 2.60GHz?). I merged these and it deleted my actual CPU with this unrecognised one. Later, my actual CPU re-appeared but it has a small yellow triangle with 'U' in the status column. My question is - is this OK or will my results/P1 testing be affected by it?

Hope this makes sense.

the memory setting sounds fine to me. You could give it more but it wouldn't make a lot of difference overall.

Make sure no one else is using your account. you may need to just delete the bad entry rather than merge them. The "trusted" setting should cure itself with time.
