Ah, good idea about Linux format. I do know that sr2sieve doesn't care one way or the other (regardless of what OS you're running it under), and as Mini-Geek said, any text editor decent enough to handle a file this big can handle Linux line endings, too. Thus, we should definitely provide large sieve files only in Linux format whenever possible.
Gary, since everybody's got a copy of the p=5050G file, I won't bother re-doing it in Linux format; however, in the future I'll make sure that I do. Even if you do end up sending me one in DOS format, I can still convert it rather easily on this end. Max

P=5050G-6500G is complete. I'm culling off factors now.
I'll post another reservation within 2-3 hours. I think it will be a P=1T range but I need to verify that I can get that done by the 15th. Note that I'm still leaving open the possibility of running this up to P=30T if we can get there by the 20th. I will do an optimum sieve depth calculation alter today. Max, Yes, I agree on that about Linux format. I'll Email you yet another sieve file with factors removed up to P=6500G; hopefully by mid-evening to allow you some time tonight to upload it to the server. Lennart, Yes, I got all of your factors. I don't know why I didn't receive the P=12650G-13800G range orginally. I double-checked my Email as well as spam folder and didn't see them. Gary |

Just to be strange (nothing new there!), I'll reserve P=21000G-22050G. 75G each on 14 cores. ETA is the 15th.
An 80G range on each core puts it on the 16th and allows no time for an outage. Max, in a little while I'll Email you the file with all factors removed up to P=6500G. When you upload it to the server, please edit the 1st post here right before the reservations. I've added a comment about how far the server file has had its factors removed. Tim, this leaves a perfect opportunity for you to take 22050G-22100G if you so desire since your current range is nearing completion.
