I tried searching but I'm not sure if I'm using the right key words. Is there any way to get msieve to continue poly selection if the computer crashed? If I just re-run the same command line (-np) it seems to start over again.

Look up the largest A5 value in the output file, subtract a few hundred from it for good luck, and do -np A5,{A5+lots}

P.S.: a -<resume with default bounds> option would be nice. Last fiddled with by Andi47 on 2009-04-25 at 11:49 |

Restarts will append to the .p file, even if the contents of the file are for a different input number. The library is not very smart about parsing output files.
