I have about 10 more days before I finish up my PSP reservation. As systems finish up I can have them run this. It would be about 12 cores running about 12 hours a day.

Nice! That should be able to get this drive's n-level out of the "danger zone" very quickly. If you could stay on until n=600K, we'd be in business.

If this sounds good to you, then I can go ahead and load a large range (n=10K) into the same port # as before and refill as necessary. Since in this case you'd be the primary use of that port (rather than Gary), the results would be credited to you this time.

I'll be happy to continue the mini-drive here with my lonely quad (Q6600 2.4GHz). To be honest, I was quite surprised I managed to stay ahead of the 500th prime alone.

It's your choice how you want to continue it. Right now, it takes ~4 days to do the current amount of work in 1K. If reducing the amount of work in each file will help us keep ahead of the 5000th prime, I'm all for it.

Once I'm done my crunching on SIMAP (a BOINC project), I'll resume this drive.

With Sloth's offer to help out, it shouldn't be too big a deal to keep ahead of the top-5000 with the current amount of work in each file. So you can keep reserving files here as usual. For now they're below the top-5000 water line, but once Sloth gets moving on them all should be clear shortly.

Okay, sounds good. Reserving 542K-550K for Sloth PRPnet. It's being loaded into the same port as before as I write this. Sloth, you can feel free to add cores as soon as it's convenient.

That's the last of the currently posted files, so I'll post more shortly. Gamer, the 5000th prime is currently at ~547K, so you should be in the clear if you start on the next available file within a few days.

Thanks for helping out Sloth and thanks for continuing Gamer. It's nice to have this drive continue. Like Max said, I hate to waste a good sieve file, especially one that has been sieved to P=30T!
