I have a Core i7 with HT turned off. Primenet reports the cpu as a dual core with HT when it should be seen as a quad core without HT. Is this the software or Windows reporting it wrong? It's Windows 7 so I suppose you could treat it like Vista for the most part.

Yeah I have HT off at the moment also.
They did release a real dual core i7 Xeon this week though. |

Sounds like a prime95 problem in detecting hyperthreading. See undoc.txt for entries you can put in local.txt to fix this.
