We have to decide whether to sieve Ks from this drive further, beyond 700k. Let me know what do you think. I can engage one 64-bit sieving client, but I don't have enough time to handle the initial sieving.

We can always suspend the effort at 700k, and sieve it sometime in 2010 after 9th-10th drives reach 700k. I personally prefer lower k-values or low-weight values, and this one seems redundant with the 9th drive now that we're well above the top-5000 line.

I agree with Curtis. Between the 7th and 9th drives we have plenty of high weight k's to test. We can always come back to these k's later when the other drives are at much higher n values.

I can do some sieving in the new year if we want to start these ks up again.

I'm now doing initial sieving beyond 700k and will send you the input file later in December.

I agree that we already have many other candidates, but we can consider this a low-priority sieving job, so that the files are ready by mid-2010.
