162126 is still growing with the 2^3 · 3 · 5-driver, no signs it could escape, and it hit an ecm-resistant C173, t50 is done, on the way to t55.

436080 gave me quite a ride, nearly 3000 terms and down to 9 digits -- but no merge.

281442 was another amazing run of nearly 3000 terms, just touching 9 digits at the bottom. Again, no merge.

Just rescanned the sequences <1M and collected some stats. Over the last 4 weeks:
  • 5125 sequences have seen some progress (55% of the 9271 open)
  • over 230000 terms have been added
    • biggest gain was 853308, which added 4123 terms
  • cumulatively, sequences were extended by over 14700 digits (now there's a meaningless statistic for you)

Another monthly update for the sequences <1M:

- 4179 sequences have been advanced
- over 173600 terms have been added
- biggest gain was in 955296, which added 5645 terms
- most digits added was also 955296, which added 35 digits (104 to 139)
- biggest decrease (aside from 6 terminations) was 1134, which dropped 16 digits

Sequence 1966080 terminates in 43.
Had this result been known before itself? (I added it up yesterday).
Below that of 100 digit limit

So does 3.2118
as well as 9565938
all these sequences frequently terminate in 43

By the way, I pushed up all these following sequences
repeatedly beyond that 90 digit size again
some more than over 1000 iterations, even,
by now itself
3.2164
3333330
11111111112
1112
3.2171
3.2161

1111110 terminates exactly in 1483
9999990 terminates within 22811

That way is some random sequence, such as 903981141
like this972, 98304, 98415, 9298091736, 9663676416, 9895604649984
rather within that way 917504, 939524096, 9216, 9437184 test it out within any thing, such way

Here's the June update on the sequences under 1M:

- Two terminations (752976 and 877240) and one merge (659160)
- 3203 sequences extended, out of 9261 open
- 90500 total terms added
- Biggest gain in digits was 389064, which went from 108 to 145
- Biggest gain in terms was 862608, which added 2280 lines

It's almost useless to pick some sequences randomly above 1000000.
If it's open ended, there could exist a sequence lower than that merging with it like the above.

A seq. like 3*2^171 (= startvalue 8979466059761067529443439612208842872766049544044544 with 52 digits) has a minimum at index 80 with 49 digits -> lower than startvalue.
So this seq. merges with that one and perhaps quite lower with another one.

All open sequences < 1000000 are known and it would be better to concentrate on those first.
Higher ranges should be checked intensively for merges because this was not done before.

PS: What in heavens name is that attachment for?

I've been surveying all the open sequences regularly and finally spotted this:
Code:
969624 616. sz 116 2^9 * 3^3 * 11 * 31 * 397
(I'm assuming someone's DB workers developed this.)

I decided to run this to see where it went. From capture to escape, not very far as it turned out:
Code:
 597 . c108 = 2^5 * 3^2 * 5 * 13
 598 . c108 = 2^9 * 3^2 * 5 * 11 * 13 * 31
Code:
 627 . c120 = 2^9 * 3^4 * 5 * 11^2 * 19 * 31
 628 . c121 = 2^10 * 3^3 * 5^2 * 11^2 * 19 * 31
Nice growth: 12 digits in <30 lines.....
