81882 more than doubled in length with more than 5 up-downs... until this calamity cut its (future) life fairly short:

However, totally unrelatedly, another sequence seem to have moved up to become the third longest sequence... and it is still quite unstable...

Quite a lucky escape from such a nasty driver that seemed to spell certain doom for such a long and interesting sequence!
Best of luck with 81882! May it terminate quickly.

I extended 19380 a few indexes but am not reserving it. Status:

19380, i=1846, sz 125, C104, +4, 2^2

Somebody might like this one. In the 4 indexes that I extended it, I lost the factor of 3!

Here are some sequences that I'm not reserving that are higher than what is shown on the pages (I didn't extend them):

15960, i=2033 (already terminated)
19494, i=1448, sz 106, C95, +3, 2^6*127

Here is one that I inadvertantly extended a little bit before realizing it was reserved by Clifford:
19852, i=856, sz 111, C105, +7, 2^3*3

Did you find the p42*p74 by ECM or GNFS?

Well, it is a bit scary, because even though it has got 23*3*5 now, it is now only c97 at iteration 7922... this is definitely the new longest sequence. 8000+ is around the corner.

That'll overhaul 389508, 2nd place in the merged sequences list...

...and could 314718 be under threat?

Cool

After a very hairy c137 (13 days......my biggest job ever!) I got this break on 167148 (very nice: p56*p82):

Maybe 4788 will manage the same thing!

And my hat's off to mataje for managing the escape from 2^3 \cdot 3 \cdot 5at 135 digits!!

ECM in one of the last few curves as I recall. I'm still not messing with GNFS yet hence why I only continue to a hard factor of C<=100 with a notable exception of sequence 19278, which is quite interesting.

I am now done with 183680. I took this one quite a ways but was unable to get rid of the perfect number 2^6*127 factorization. Status:

183680; i=1559; sz 114; C105; +111; 2^6*3^2*127
