OK thanks. That looks good but why is the link that I provided in my original post still incorrect? If it is incorrect, shouldn't the link be removed or the primes corrected? Otherwise it is misleading. Gary |

Thanks for removing the outdated message and for adding the proxy warning Max. For some unknown reason, I assumed that we should still be somewhat cautious but that has certainly proved to be unfounded.
Sheep, if you see this thread, you can add your cores to this drive if you still want to. I forgot to add the 3 more cores to this drive that I said I was going to yesterday so am starting to do that now. Gary |

I have no idea what belongs in there Gary, I try to find primes and place them in there.
Perhaps I should stop looking for them and use a copy of the servers primes.txt file instead. |

Great - Carlos, I thought you got them guys to fix their config files?
That, or he can stay like that, I don't care. Ukraine_Death |

lol. How can you not know what belongs in there? You, the guru and god of servers can't figure it out? I mean that will all respect.Based on that, I have a question: Doesn't that link automatically update with primes from your results file (or primes.txt file) once per day? Or do you update it manually? If it's done manually, since it seems to be a little "off" now, yes, I would suggest just deleting everything in it and copying everything from your primes.txt file into it at this point. My feeling about what might have happened: Somehow it was being improperly updated the 1st day that the server was running...not sure why that might have happened. Whether that "improper" update was done manually or automatically is what I do not know. After the 1st day, it appears that it was updating OK. It's all auto-magic, it scans results.txt every 15 minutes for the auto-notify, every hour looks for primes to update the web page and it updates that primes_port#.txt file every night at rollover.
At one point, I'm sure in the beginning, it choked, didn't run, etc. It's not there as an accurate representation, if that's what you are getting at. I could just delete it, as all the primes are in the database now. |

Hum, I wonder if it choked on the fact that you turned the auto-notify off shortly before you started the server. Your call. You can feel free to delete it in this case if you want. I will refer to it on other ports but don't rely on it 100%. I still check the results files to make sure that no primes are missed. But on this port, there are so many of them that I'll be pulling the primes right out of the results that Max sends me so I don't specifically need it. Edit: Another option would be to just copy it in from primes.txt once/day but don't do any extra programming just for this one server if that would take you more than 5 mins. We are going to setup another query to show you all primes that are listed in the database...
I'll setup the copy so it's what ever the server has listed that you can view rather than something I came up with. edit: every hour the primes.txt file will be copied from what the server has in it currently so you can keep an eye on it. Last fiddled with by IronBits on 2009-01-11 at 06:52 |

Okay, I have returned my machines. Here's the listing of cores running on port 9000:
FYI, the sticky note on the "LLRnet servers" thread still has: |
