Hmm...just took a closer look at the Free-DC stats page, and it seems that it only tracks the last 28 days on the "Daily Points Added" chart. What I'm primarily looking for is something that can show me an all-time graph (like what the NPLB stats site shows for k/n pairs), or at least a graph with a customizable range. I presume that it would be a massive undertaking to add such functionality to the Free-DC site since it's highly generalized for gazillions of projects; possibly a second set of graphs, for point score (in addition to the current k/n pair graps) could be added to the NPLB site?

I just noticed something missing.
I can't seem to find which link to click that shows who is a member of AMD Users and how many knpairs each person is chewing up... Of course, the only reason that I'm curious is that they are tearing up ROLP! ![]() I just went here http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?p...team=AMD+Users and can see vaughan and Brucifer kickin some butt

The pie charts you ask for already exist on the dashboard page.
(overall stats, not filtered for this rally though) I'll see if I can break out the teams into hourly scores this evening. Last fiddled with by AMDave on 2009-04-18 at 06:22 |

![]() One thing for sure: ROLP may seem like some serious stuff during non-rally times, but during rallies when Free-DC and AMD Users have turned out in force, you can see what happens. As the old maxim says, slow and steady wins the race (but not the rally). ![]() As I suggested over in the Free-DC forum last night, what you guys should really do is to try a serious attempt at upsetting ROLP's first-place spot in the all-time stats. That would really be something.

I've asked AMDave to start Team Stats mid October, back when Teams were formed.
Let's see what the numbers show then.

ah really while the points thing is a kick to hassle people with, the main thing is that we all are covering some serious ground in clearing out unfinished prime searching areas and discovering a lot of primes in the process. And that takes help from everyone on all the difference facets of attacking the issue.

I second what both Max and Bruce said here. Free-DC should try to overtake ROLP on overall stats and it's great that so many different people of different tastes in DC computing projects come together to fill the many holes in the prime universe.
Along those lines...What would people think of extending the rally to 3 or 4 days? ![]() I don't want to "hijack" anyone's cores who would like to maintain their position in the standings but was not expecting to continue searching so we'd only do something like that if we had 100% agreement on it. If we have some agreement in this thread, I'll post it more officially in the rally thread asking for more input and send an Email to everyone that I can asking if they would agree with it. I figure it never hurts to ask. Gary Last fiddled with by gd_barnes on 2009-04-18 at 21:20 |
