Well he hasn't reserved anything yet, although he was the one who suggested using a quartic. Hopefully he's not about to go mad and reserve 53-90.

I am enjoying the character-building quartic experience from the sidelines. I have made a great contribution to society, which will distinguish me forever among the innovators who improved the lot of mankind, by my suggestion that others take on this project. I think it is important that other people sieve quartics, and I see this as a wonderful opportunity for them.

I was hoping to upload 101-103M also at this time, but during my absence this weekend, Vista decided to reboot... I hate it when software gets autonomously on me :(.

Is there a "resume" option to gnfs-lasieve4I15e.exe? If not, how can I see from the relations file where to restart? (I suppose a few duplicate relations don't hurt?)

Unfortunately, no. See http://www.mersenneforum.org/showpos...57&postcount=1 for more details. I don't know of a good way to look at just the last several lines on Windows (i.e the equivalent of tail in unix), maybe notepad is the best low overhead viewer of large files in windows...

Also make sure that when you restart with new start and count values, you also give it a new output filename or the old one will be overwritten.

Just "type" the file (and minimize the window) and you will get the last few lines after a few seconds.

You should have a file called "xxx.job" where xxx is anything you like.

A job file is completely unnecessary. None of Sir Womack's projects has required one. We only need -r or -a -f -c and -o around here.
