And no affinity tab under the Advanced menu.
I'm running Vista 64-bit Home Premium on the following machine: Intel E8500 @3.16GHz OC to 3.6GHz (400MHz FSB, x9.0), 1.35v ASUS Rampage Extreme Mobo (sort of regretting the $ I spent on it, too), NB @ 1.4v 4GB OCZ SOU-E DDR3 @ 1600 MHZ, 1.89v, DRAM VTT @ .9something volts 2 DVD-RW Drives Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer CPU Cooler 2X 250mm Case fans GTL vREFs 0-3 @ -40mv (according to the calculation out there I need -38.6, rounded to -40) Running 2 self-test worker threads, one quits with a fatal rounding error, the other continues unabated (as I imagine it would with independent cores). Quit was at 9 hours, 22 minutes although the time it takes for the rounding error to pop up varies. I've installed Prime95 into its own little folder, but as noted above, the program did not create me a stress.txt file so I can't look at the error for more information. Also as noted above, I cannot find any 'affinity' mentioned anywhere in the Advanced pulldown menu. Did I find the hidden short bus download link, or should I just be on it myself? |

Affinity setting is done through the Test menu : "Test / Worker Windows". Select a "Worker number" (you will see "All Workers" initially...)
Since this is still a beta version of the program all documentation files are not packed with the program. Jacob |
