if the computer if occasionally freezing at boot-up, what should i do to help prevent/what is the cause? (mobo ABIT AS8)

fixed: i set a memory divider, i guess the memory was running at too high a speed

Try running memtest (free version). I found my system to be Prime95 stable running 1024 and 4096KB torture test for 3 hours. Ran memtest and an error popped out in 5mins.
