Just me being my anal self more than anything but it does help verify the k's remaining at each n-level.

(Not checked if new.) 35.5-37 and 37-38.5 finished. (I'll email the results for my 4 complete ranges in a while.) I guess 188 primes left when we reach n=100,000. ![]() Note by Max: I checked your primes, and for ease of handling on my part I simply edited your post to denote the k's with lower primes reported in a similar manner to how you noted primes duplicated within your range.

Huh? Since when is 40171 lower than 39158? lol Max, is that you and that higher-level math again? Yesterday, it was putting n=30900 lower in the descending prime list than n=30200. And now this?! What's the world coming to? ![]() I changed the 1st post. See my web pages now for a way to help find former primes. I've now created a separate page for all Riesel base 3 primes for n>25K. On the Sierp side, it's n>70K with a list for n>25K coming in the next few weeks. it wouldn't have helped here since both were reported at about the same time but it should help if they're reported a day or 2 apart. The pages will be updated in a little while. G |

Maybe Max was tired but from outside this thread has been quite funny to read.

38.5-40 is finished. (1Kb too big to post here.) Email playing up, will send later.
I'll take a couple from the Sierp drive. Hopefully henryzz will finish soon and things will get updated here in the mean time. ![]() Now updated, so taking: 41K-42K Last fiddled with by Flatlander on 2008-10-22 at 13:15 |
