Don't worry about it. Just don't let it happen again. lol
I have my own rant here...Why are people so quick to want to delete results files? Except for a hard drive crash and loss off a job where I lost a few, I have virtually every results file I ever created, even from when I first started prime searching 18 months ago; well before I started any projects. I'm just curious because space is extremely cheap. I think all of mine plus all of the files I've collected from others still add up to well under 15 GB and that includes huge files from my all twin prime search (35-40 MB per each k<1M/n=1000 range) as well as all the files at NPLB. I've just gotten so used to hitting Shift-Delete instead that I practically forget the recycle bin even exists.I probably should get in the habit of using it for important stuff like this, at least... Quote:
![]() I guess the main reason why I don't keep them around is because they're usually, say, attached somewhere on the forum where I can easily pull them down again if need be. But, yes, I really should try to keep them around for a while in the future, so I don't run into any more embarrassing situations like this. ![]() Max

The web pages have been updated and files posted for all efforts at CRUS except for here and some of the Riesel bases > 32. I'll get to this drive within the next few hours.
I see that KEP has stopped his involvement in this effort. ![]() I'll slowly get the applicable threads moved back into the main project. For efforts outside of this drive on Riesel base 3, it will likely will take me a few days to review what has been done and integrate it back into my pages.Gary Last fiddled with by gd_barnes on 2008-12-11 at 21:15 |
