Default can't seem to merge old account

I tried to merge one of my old accounts into my current one using the PrimeNet account form. I entered the login details of my current account, selected "Merge Account and Transfer Credit" on the drop-down menu, and entered the account I wanted to merge. However, nothing seems to have changed when I log in to my current account.

Am I doing something wrong, or does the merging process take time?

(The account was for one of my father's laptops. He didn't want Prime95 running on it, so I uninstalled it. )

Well, I managed to merge the account through the GIMPS client. I temporarily installed Prime95, changed my login details, and uninstalled it.

The credit appears to have been successfully transferred.
