Are you certain you are complete on S60 to n=75K with no more primes? The last prime was at n=37209 and there are 28 k's remaining. There were 9 primes for n=26K-38K so this seems suspect. Can you please attach a results file for n=25K-75K? I want to verify that nothing was missed. Thanks.

Request:
You do realize that you have probably 5-10 CPU years worth of work reserved, correct? Due to problems in the past with this, please do not reserve any more bases without finishing up or releasing your current bases. Current reservations:

S58: 119 k's for n=50K-125K (a HUGE effort!)
S60: 28 k's for n=75K-125K
S70: 6 k's for n=25K-100K (I reduced this from n=25K-250K to 25K-100K here)
S383: 50 k's for n=25K-100K (nothing reported since April 21st; a very significant effort for a high base; running on a dual core will take years!)

Is that everything?

Gary
Yes I'm certain that S60 is tested to n=75000. It also looked suspicious to me too, but according to the percentage of k's removed for n=12.5K to n=25K, I for the entire range of k's up to n=125K, actually only expect 1-2 more primes, so I guess that I had just a lucky streak of primes.

Actually you're right on all the reservations, I'm not aware of anything else beside that. A resultfile for S60 will be attached sometime tomorrow, since I have it at the Quad core back home, while I'm typing from the Dual core at my parents home I hope nothing is missed, but if you find something suspicious processing the resultfile, please let me know. But I think that there should be almost no problems, since the health of my Quad core were fine at last torture test (3-4 months ago).

On a sidenote, however, I can say that S60 is now completely sieved up to n=125K, S58 is sieving around 2.5T, and is expected to be optimal at around 10T. Optimal sievedepth for S70 will be somewhere between 3T and 10T, and already it has been tested to n=50K, with 1 (unreported) prime found.

S383 is sieving at around 2.54T and from 5-6T on the Dual Core. Due to summerheat and temperatures in my house in the high 80'ies and mid 90'ies, I've decided to do only sieving for maybe as long as untill september.

Hope this covered all.

Take care.

By the way, the sieve file that you provided me had been sieved to P=175G not P=140G as you had said before. I took your file, updated the sieve limit, and removed the primed k so that there are now 74 k's in it. There is a link to it on the Riesel reservations page. You would just need to convert it back to ABCD format for sieving.
That's great to hear, so the backup was not as old as i thought *g*

R75 is at n=31K

1 prime so far:

Primality testing 2336*75^26174-1 [N+1, Brillhart-Lehmer-Selfridge]
Running N+1 test using discriminant 13, base 1+sqrt(13)
Calling Brillhart-Lehmer-Selfridge with factored part 74.55%
2336*75^26174-1 is prime! (2508.7635s+0.0622s)
