If you use sr2sieve with the -j switch for Sobistrator compatibility, it is set to "don't ignore duplicates" (mimicking JJSieve's behavior) and it writes duplicates (which it finds essentially for "free") to "factexcl.txt". In answer to Dead J. Dona's question, no, they shouldn't be submitted.

Thanks for the explanation. I disagree with your conclusion, though. There is NO HARM in submitting the duplicate factors, and perhaps you will find a glitch in the sieve submission process (perhaps some factors are removed from the dat that have not been removed from the database, etc), so feel free to submit these factors. best regards, masser |
