The old colorful status page is back:
http://v5www.mersenne.org/report_classic/ It takes 30 seconds and beats up the database so don't overuse it! |

Many thanks George.
I appreciate the extra decimal place in the "expected new primes" column. How is this calculated? Although some (RDS?) may dispute the implied accuracy, it is valuable for comparative purposes. Notably for the last three ranges (effectively untested) your figures are consistently ~ 0.001 higher than ln(exponent2/exponent1)*e^gamma/ln2. This discrepancy is much less than what ATH was getting at in this thread: http://mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=10395 David Last fiddled with by davieddy on 2008-06-23 at 12:03 |

~200,000 to sum over, 1.773 is truncated 1/gamma. Then the agreement with "my" formula is impressive. Last fiddled with by davieddy on 2008-06-23 at 14:54 |

Hi!
is there currently a way for checking if my machines are running without problems (the machines are doing doublechecks)? I'm still running the v24 clients. In the past I've downloaded bad.zip and hrf3.zip and grep'ed for my accountname. Is something similar possible with the current http://v5www.mersenne.org/ stuff? I know this: http://v5www.mersenne.org/report_exponent/ but this isn't feasible for more than a few exponents. |
