Okay, sounds good.

Is there a way we can have Beyond in the rally? In other words, is there a way to count how much he processes of his 486K-496K range during the rally hours?

Gary
Well, that would be quite possible, considering that Beyond runs all his ranges through an internal LLRnet server. What we'd need to do is have him send us the results file from his server for the rally timeframe, and then Karsten could include it when he makes the rally stats.

Alternatively, Beyond could just run his machines on the public servers during the rally--remember, he's in low-power summer mode right now, so as long as his machines were spread out as evenly as possible over our various servers, I imagine we could handle the load quite easily.

Beyond, what's you're take on all this?

I decided to leave my 5 fast cores on port 400.

I also decided to temporarily stop my k=37/41/43/61/63 effort and put those 3 fast and 2 slow cores on port 300.

So...total of 10 cores on the rally: 8 fast and 2 slow. (If I don't have another power outage before then.)

Carlos, how many machines are you bringing to the rally? I remember you mentioned before that you were planning to do it on port 5000.

I'll stay with my manual reservation, it's quicker.

I currently have 3 cores on and will add 7 fast ones for the rally. I can spread them among the servers.

Okay, cool. Since you've got a significant number of cores, I'd suggest that you put the greater portion of them on the C400 server, which so far doesn't seem to be too "busy". The rest, you should probably spread out over AES300 and IB400 (or, optionally, IB8500).

Hey.

I come with 8 core and cant promise more yet.

Do a list on all server and no. off core on them like

A300 10 core
Iron400 16 core

--------

Then it is easyer to spread the core out.

So far C400 has a few machines from Beyond, I'll send him a PM asking him about the number of cores connected.
