Me neither--this also on Chrome 16.0.x (apparently the latest since it says it's up to date). I've been favoring Opera lately for the browser I keep open for "prime stuff" but I haven't observed anything strange in either.
That said, I have noticed that Chrome's language-translation feature can tend to be triggered in the oddest places on occasion: I'll see it come up on all sorts of most definitely English websites, offering to translate them from Japanese or Korean or whatever. (Naturally, accepting the proffered translation doesn't do anything. ) I think I may have seen it once or twice on the NPLB stats site in the past on the few occasions I have to open it in Chrome, and in each case it was gone by the next time I opened the site in Chrome. I wonder if the translation code might be being triggered by some random confluence of the rather high-density numerical data we have on many of our pages...

I too have seen this 'random' behaviour on various sites.
Fortunately I have found that there is a way to prevent this from occurring. I shall implement it this weekend.

Through further testing I found that the Google translator was auto-detecting Dutch, Swedish and Vietnamese randomly even though the 'lang' property was "en".
I have applied a couple of other properties and settings and retesting the translator now says the site is already in English. I don't know if these changes will completely stop the chrome/chromium translate bar from appearing but they should help. |

There is nothing in writing or set in stone. With the non-top-5000 stuff now closing in on completion, the main objective this year would be to keep k=1400-2000 well ahead of the 5000th place prime. Others might be to hit n=1.4M for k=400-600 and 1.25M for k=600-1001 by the end of the year.

Would it be possible to increase the maxJobsTime from 24 hours to 48 or 72?
The reason I ask is I don't run my pharm 24/7 these days (too hot in summer here) and often I notice when I restart the tasks I see a brief message that 0 of 1 tasks were accepted. I'm guessing they exceeded the 24 hour limit. |

Yes please, it would be great if Port 7000 was also 72 hours. Thanks.
