Sorry for not reporting this earlier, but one Of my pc finished the 73.5 to 73.6 range, and I sent the results to geroge, so I started iit on the 73.7-73.8 range. It is now around 33% through the range 73.7-73.8. It will probably take me 2 more months to finish 73.7-73.8, so if your comps are much faster, I will start on a range over 74.0, otherwise you could start factoring 73.8-74.0

Smile Change in limits

No problem. I've only prepared input/worktodo.ini files for today since there should be free CPU's about noon (UCT). The unique subrange started is 73.99-74.00M. I limit myself to 73.9-74.0M. Number of exponents (factored to 63 bits): 2350
There is a lot of work to do BELOW 73M, too.

ok, thanks for your quick reply, I will continue on the 73.7-73.8 range then. I will look at ranges below 73 million. The problem is the old nofactor file is not being updated, so is there an easy way to get up to date nofactor data? The v5 server will print results of searches on the screen, but not to a file.

Smile How to do it?

Yes, I used to use nofactor.cmp to do it.
Now I have written a program to parse the V5 report to create a nofactor file.
I do it by hand, i.e. "Save As ..." (as a rule a txt file) and some fiddling with any text editor. It works for hundreds of lines. For larger number of lines writting a parsing program is the best solution.

I've finished the range 73.7-73.8M to 64 bits and sent the results to george. I've now started on the range 73.8-73.9M to 64 bits.
