Since it's not easy to tell by the 1st post here, I thought I'd give a synopsis of what is left unreserved for this effort:
k=351; 900K-1M k=353; 850K-1M k=355; 900K-1M k=357; 900K-1M k=361; 900K-1M k=363; 900K-1M It looks like we're having plenty of takers on the remaining work so I'm thinking we won't continue 6k drive #2 past n=900K, which include 5 of the k's above, unless people really want to. Ian has already started on k=365 for n=900K-1M. I mentioned in another thread giving some of the k's to Lennart (if he might be interested) to finish up after he is done with k=3045 and 3135. If so, I'll probably just give him 2-3 of the k's above to finish up and if he still would like more, then I'd suggest that he try a few k's in the 3200-3400 range. In other words, I'll still leave some k's here for people. Although we haven't formally started the k=3200-3400 range yet, the overwhelming consesus was that people liked the idea of making that range another manual individual-k effort. Therefore if anyone wants a k or two in that area, let me know and I'll send you the file(s). The range is n=50K-1M but people could reserve whatever range pleases them within reason. (No oddball reservations like n=477K-486K please, lol.) Eventually I'll get around to rolling that out in a formal manner. Once we get it formalized, we might consider a few 6k (or 3k or 10k or whatever-k) drives again in a server. Gary |

Primes and results have been verified for 6k drive #1 for n=600K-930K and for 6k drive #2 for n=700K-800K against the usual places. No problems found.

Reserving k=351, 355, 357, 361, & 363 for n=900K-1M for port 9000.
Admin note: Port 9000 will process k=365 for n=800K-900K and will stop there. Ian has reserved it for n=900K-1M. Beginning at n=900K, it is a 5k drive. The only remaining available range on this drive is k=353 for n=850K-1M. If no one reserves it by this weekend, I will take it. Gary Last fiddled with by gd_barnes on 2009-08-12 at 09:52 |
