So how deep are we going? Just asking because a heat wave is passing Portugal and sieving reduces the CPU temps by 5 ºC. If this goes on I prefer to sieve without having the necessity to reduce the CPU speed. lol
BTW, 3500-4100 at 83%. Carlos Last fiddled with by em99010pepe on 2008-04-04 at 11:23 |

Reserving 4700G-5200G for my 4 machines. My 2 ranges will finish up this morning and afternoon; will send factors then.
Carlos, we still have to do a calculation but I'm guessing 6000G = 6T for breaking off n=100K-150K; closer to 9T-10T for n=150K-200K; then it goes up from there. We're sieving n=100K-400K so plenty of work to do. As soon as Anon gets all contiguous factors up to P=~3000G-3500G, he can remove them and run a test at P=~5000G to see what his remove rate is and we can do the calculation. Once we hit optimal for n=100K-150K, we'll stop, remove that n-range, add it to drive 3, and continue sieving n=150K-400K. Gary |
