Wonderful. My plane got in early, a little before 10:30, so I was hoping that I could catch you before bed on at least getting the servers started. Thanks for doing that. Karsten when you see this later this morning when you are on, you might try submitting your pairs to port GB8000. Gary |

confirming GB reporting has resumed as expected.
Since it is possible that there was a daily file update between the time the server resumed service and the stats resumed capture, we should allow the next Daily update to complete (in 20 hours time) before referring to today's pair counts and score for the GB server with absolute conviction. I 'think' we got them all already, but the Daily stats update is the 'catch-all'. |

Thanks everyone for the time you spent related to my power outage and me being out of town. I'm sorry it happened.
Max, if this happens again, I'll make sure that Sherri checks to make sure that Crunchford is connected to the internet. That's the one machine we have to have online. Hopefully we can get them to power themselves back on. One think I don't think I can guarantee though...that they will all reconnect themselves to the internet. If they'll at least power back on, I could have someone come over and unplug and replug my little black box(es) so that they should all connect. Gary |

For the record, I haven't done anything with NPLB database, stats, website or any other such related tasks for a couple of months.
AMDave has done ALL of what you see all by himself, and is the person to talk to when needing anything done or find something that needs to be fixed, or want something changed. One of these days I'll get him up to speed on how to load work into the servers and restart them ![]() Then I'll be considered redundant :) Last fiddled with by IronBits on 2009-04-03 at 20:38 |

It looks like we should pass 20,000 pairs today on port 8000, which may be the highest daily total we've ever had on an n>500K range. At that rate, we should get 3-4 top-5000 primes per day, although 1 will likely be confirmed.
Bring it on boys!

It needs feeding.
At this rate there's only 3 days left in the tank. |
