Oh, come on...there's no need to leave in a huff just over a few little k/n pairs.
It was primarily my boo-boo, not checking with Gary to get confirmation on whether we should load the k/n pairs--and, what did we lose, at the most, a few hours of processing? We could have easily lost more than that with a server outage.

I've emailed you the knpairs.txt, all 2 megs of it.
Send back what you want me to use. :( Send me a care package for sieving. I ran it once before, but I don't recall how to. create me a setup that I can unzip to some directory and run some program. Give me lots to do for 8 cores, Intel, windows Vista 64bit OS. Last fiddled with by IronBits on 2009-01-03 at 04:43 |

It appears that port 8000 stopped handing out work about an hour and a half ago...
I know my cores can't get work, looked around, stop/started it several times, still nothing, so put my cores on another project until I figure out what, if anything, is wrong with the server. |

David,
n=350000-352000 was all that was supposed to be in the server and it has already been handed out. n=210000-220000 should never have been loaded in there. Anything remaining is sitting in someone's queue. Reducing JobMaxtime to 6 hours should clear everything out. As for what to do with your machines, as suggested previously, could you please run some port 400 work? Or if you could get the sieving stuff worked out, that would be great. To all, Max has my phone # and several of you may still have my phone # from when we had the 4th drive crises. I've talked to David on the phone several times in the past. If there is ever a question about what to do with something and I'm not on, please call me on my cell phone. If I don't answer right away, leave a message and I'll get back to you very quickly. Gary |

Is port 6000 working? I wasn't able to connect to it a little while ago? Gary |

Please help to dry C6000 (k=341) because I won't be hosting anymore servers for NPLB.
