Naw, just a manual run on one core would knock it out fast enough.

Okay, that sounds good then.

I have completed verification of the results files for n=400K-420K for drive 3. I checked primes on post 1 of this thread, the top-5000 site, the Primesearch site, Karsten's NPLB drive 3 page, and the 300<k<2000 page.

There was one new prime that wasn't listed in post 1 of this thread. It is 349*2^416059-1 that was found by Carlos. That has now been added to the post.

Karsten, 349*2^416059-1 is also missing from your NPLB drive 3 page, which is showing completion of all ranges to n=423K. Please adjust any possible scoring inaccuracy also.

The 300<k<2000 page has had it's ranges and primes reported up thru n=400K but has not yet been updated for the 5 new primes for n=400K-420K. I'm sure Karsten will take care of that in the near future.

The Primesearch site is a problem. Problem people there are 'Boogi' and 'Macy'. These people reserve ranges, wait for primes to be reported by other people or projects, and then copy the primes on to the pages as though they found them. This is why we are missing some of our primes there. But in this case I've noticed that almost all of Boogi's ranges are past their expiration date because he reserves far more than he can ever do himself. If I can get Mike Hartley to officially expire them, we could then reserve them, report their primes, and complete them. I'll send Mike a note tomorrow to see if he'll do that.

Further confirming what Boogi and Macy do is that they will frequently reserve a range and complete it without knowing that it has been completed by others, results in ranges reported complete with missing primes. There are numerous instances of this there.

Eventually, we'll get all of Primesearch straightened out.

Once n=423K-424K is complete, I'll verify everything up to n=480K here.

I'm putting n=423K-424K back up for individual reservation. With no activity in nearly 2 months, a PM sent and a posting asking for status, both with no response, it's time to get it completed. Here is a link:

423K-424K

First come, first served...

Since this is old, please plan to complete it in ~1 week or so.

Thanks,
Gary

I'll reserve n=423K-424K to get it done. ETA is < 1 week on 1 core.

n=423K-424K complete; no primes

Anon, can you process the LLRnet results for n=470K-490K for drive 3? Actually, I only need n=470K-480K. I'm going to do all the verification this weekend for n=420K-480K and get everything reported at Primesearch and n=470K-480K is all that I need to finish that.

Thanks,
Gary

Actually, I'm one step ahead of you on that. I started working on processing the results for 470K-490K a few days ago (the entire range was complete as far as the server was concerned, which means that if there were any missing k/n pairs, they were truly lost and the server was not going to hand them out again), but found that there were ~730 results that were somehow lost. Yesterday I finished running those missing results; I'll see about getting them merged in with the rest of the results and processed either tonight or sometime tomorrow.

Default n=420K-480K results confirmed and complete

I have verified the n=420K-480K results files and compared them to the primes in post 1 of this thread, the NPLB drive 3 page, the Rieselprime.org page, and the top-5000 site. I have also reported all the ranges complete at Primesearch.

No missing or incorrect primes were found. 6 primes still need to be added to the Rieselprime.org site. The only thing needed on the drive 3 page is to complete the n=423K-424K range that I did. Any missing primes at Primesearch were on k's with open reservations by others.

Attached is a spreadsheet with a list of the primes found and primes that still need to be added to Rieselprime.org. Ranges where n=480K-600K was previously searched can now show complete to n=600K.
