Default 1.2Ghz machine -- only 5 watts

Saw this on slashdot:
http://linuxdevices.com/news/NS9634061300.html

$100 gets you a machine that only draws 5 watts, yet has 512MB memory, and runs at 1.2Ghz.

Your money is probably still better spent on a traditional PC with a quad, but if you are going for low power, this seems to be nearly unbeatable.

Seems like a lot of power draw for an ARM device but I guess that 1.2GHz will make the power usage rise above the normal sub-1-watt 600MHz devices. And Marvell are still using the old ARMv5 architecture (no floating point hardware).

ARMv5 doesn't mean you can't have a floating-point unit (VFPv2, ref). In that particular case (88F6281), the chip doesn't seem to have an FPU.
