I'm sorry for asking a stupid question. I don't know what I could possibly enter into Google. Basically, I have a minimal ubuntu install, which seems to be missing a lot of stuff. I need a way to, basically, install everything but the kitchen sink, if I may bastardize that quote for my own use.
So, could someone guide me as to how I could expand my ubuntu install using my cable Internet connection? |

Graphically, use Synaptic. It is under one of your menus.
