How do I extend a manual gpu TF assignment to additional bit levels?
Say I have a reservation to TF M_p from 2^71 to 2^72. Is it easy to modify the worktodo file to also TF M_p from 2^72 to 2^73 and still get credit and not mess up the server, etc? Last fiddled with by masser on 2017-03-04 at 23:03 |

Even better is to claim the proper bitlevels, and report them when they are done, then request other work from the server, because priorities of work types and ranges may have changed meantime. Doing "unassigned" work (like extending the bitlevel or the range without assigning) you risk doing work which is not needed. Do not marry your exponents. Just do them, report, ask for others, move on. At the end, all will have to be done. Last fiddled with by LaurV on 2017-03-06 at 05:12 |
