I understand now. For the record I was merely stating what I wished for the whole community of Prime provers including PrimeGrid. I stand corrected.

Some updated thoughts:

Mark, as you had originally suggested I'm inclined to make it a goal to test all bases with < 2000 k's remaining at n=10K to n=25K. You already knocked one out and it looks like you'll knock another out before we begin 2022. If so that will leave 14 bases remaining. It will be a challenge but it seems doable.

On my goal #5 I think it makes sense to split the difference between 12 and 15 k's remaining. We will make it a goal to test all bases with <= 13 k's remaining at n=100K to n=300K.

With BOINC running base 2 on goal #8 for a good portion of the year to n=5M, I think I'll reduce goal #9 to test all those base 2/4 even-odd k-n thingies to n=9M instead of n=10M. There will already be several aggressive goals for BOINC and this will take away some of the pressure on very long tests.

Even if we don't meet some of these fairly aggressive goals that is OK. We will likely be further along than setting easy goals. Many of the 2021 goals were a little too easy so I had to keep hopping to keep the recommended bases coming even after goals had been done.

Sounds good to me. Note that I have been taking conjectures at n=10000 with more than 2000 remaining k as those are good conjectures to test the speed (and accuracy) of srsieve2cl. If you have been following the mtsieve thread, using the GPU to sieve is a no-brainer.

OK. If we set a goal to have conjectures with < 2000 k's remaining tested to n=25K, will you work on many of those?

I will work on some. How many is unknown. I sometimes get distracted by other projects.
