After completing my k=5 range I will dedicate my cores to this drive. In the meantime I thinking in buying a dual octo core xeon (E5-2650, AVX, £740) machine but I was wondering if people can post some benchmarks of your current setup on this thread running LLR on full cores with HT off. Just need to understand which machine is more energy efficient, if a new build or a refurbished xeon server including investment cost.
