Does anyone have a list of things they want to do before they die? Here are some of mine:

Code:

1.) Become reasonably good at a musical instrument
2.) Go ice skating
3.) Meet the president of the U.S.
4.) Go boating
5.) Fly a plane
6.) Get a full time job
7.) Visit Europe, Canada, and at least 25 of the 50 U.S. states
8.) Graduate from a 4 year college
9.) Drive a race car
10.) Go skydiving
11.) Lose my virginity
12.) Find a prime that stays on the top 5000 list for at least a year
13.) Ride a horse
14.) Climb a 14,000 foot mountain peak
15.) Watch a pro sports game in person
16.) Go skiing
17.) Row a canoe
18.) Cook and eat a fish I caught myself
19.) Go hunting
20.) Voluntarily go without the internet and TV for a week
21.) Break a world record, or be a part of one
22.) Go bungee jumping
23.) See a satellite
24.) Run 10 miles without stopping or walking
25.) Milk a cow
26.) Go skinny dipping
27.) Go rock climbing
28.) Ride in a hot air balloon
29.) Walk through a corn maze
30.) Experience weightlessness
31.) Feel a piece of moon rock
32.) Solve the rubik's cube in less than a minute
33.) Become a millionaire
34.) Ride in a limo
35.) Fly first class
36.) Own a piece of land
37.) Write a book
38.) Appear in a newspaper
39.) Ride in a submarine
40.) Memorize 100 digits of pi
41.) Learn the initiation ritual of a secret society
42.) Go on a helicopter ride
43.) Hike on a glacier
44.) Sleep in a suite in a 5 star hotel
45.) Invent a board game
46.) Ride a high speed train
47.) Stay awake for 24 hours
48.) Vote in a national election
49.) Take a weeklong vacation on a cruise ship
50.) Live to be 100 years old

So far, I've done about half of them. I should get another 4 or 5 items crossed off that list by the end of the year.

I'm not sure I have a list per se but I have done a few on your list like the musical instrument one.

So far I can tick off only 4, 6, 8, 11, 14, 15, 17, 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 34, 36, 38, 39, 43, 46
47 & 48. I make that 20 in total. Several others are on my list, including #50 (over half-way there already!) but some I've no real interest in, such as meeting POTUS.

Thinking about it, I've achieved 30 but only for brief periods. As for #7, I've visited Europe, Canada and (WA, CA, TX, CO, IL, MA, NJ & NY == 8) US states.

Something not on your list which I've achieved is fly in a biplane airliner. A De Havilland Dragon Rapide to be precise. Another is to see a quasar with a Mk-1 eyeball and an individual star in an external galaxy ditto. The latter was a blue supergiant in the Andromeda galaxy, back in the days when I still had a 46cm Dobsonian and good star charts.

Not been in a corn maze. Will a bamboo maze do?

Another ambition of mine: set up a breeding colony to help preserve an endangered species. With luck, that will be started in the next few years.

0.) Execute my secret plans to rule the world

Although I have never made any concious effort to make a list of such things I count 11 things on your list that I haven't done (1, 3, 12, 14, 28, 31, 37, 39, 41, 45, 50). Some don't interest me so I will never complete everything on your list. For me number 42 can be enhanced to flying the helicopter.

33 assuming you are still young 1 won't be enough
38 not yet but I've been on TV
39 does the one at Disneyland count?

Won't do: 3 (I'm Canadian and I have no interest in meeting our Prime Minister), 10,14,31,32(3 minutes),40,41

Lol, corn mazes are hardly more than a dime a dozen in Illinois. (Without exaggeration, if you're not in a very-tiny-town, there's probably at least one within a hour, or more.)
