there may be many reasons. One is that your terminal is set to request work for a number of days in advance. This is the normal case: people request work for a month, or 15 days, or 2-3 days at least, in advance, so the computer has something to do in case the old assignment is finished and the internet connection become unavailable at the time of finish. In short, you "store" some future work to do in your computer. Check the "preferences" in the "options" menu. Look for days to queue. There can be other reasons too, but we believe this is your case.
