Default mprime not sending automatic updates to server

I am a new user running mprime on Linux Mint 19. I am able to run mprime, but it isn't sending automatic updates of my progress to the server. Therefore I can't monitor the progress on an assignment by logging into my account online. And I wonder whether it will communicate the results of the current assignment after it is complete a few days from now.

I am able to send manual updates to the server by using the following sequence in mprime -m:
4 [Test/Stop]
10 [Advance/Manual Communication]
Contact PrimeNet server automatically (Y): Y
Contact PrimeNet server now (Y): Y
Send new expected completion dates to server (N)
5 [Test/Continue]
That does manually update my information on the server. However, it doesn't make mprime start doing the updates automatically (despite the line that says "Contact PrimeNet server automatically (Y): Y").

I suspect this has something to do with how I have mprime configured. Here is the current contents of my local.txt file:
OldCpuSpeed=3666
NewCpuSpeedCount=0
NewCpuSpeed=0
RollingAverage=1000
RollingAverageIsFromV27=1
WorkerThreads=1
CoresPerTest=4
ComputerGUID=0c98d750b26f99e48c6c3af78cf08847
ComputerID=Jupiter
Pid=8892
SrvrUID=922169876
SrvrComputerName=445217185
SrvrPO1=0
SrvrPO2=1
SrvrPO3=3
SrvrPO4=1000
SrvrPO5=1000
SrvrPO6=450
SrvrPO7=1410
SrvrPO8=1
SrvrPO9=1
SrvrP00=5
LastEndDatesSent=1553045896
Memory=1000 during 7:30-23:30 else 1000
Does anyone know what I can do to make mprime update the server automatically?

Walter

In your Prime.txt what is the value for:

DaysBetweenCheckins=

If it is >1 then it won't check in every day.

Welcome to the wonderful world of GIMPS.

Thanks for replying, Uncwilly.

In my Prime.txt file, the value of DaysBetweenCheckins is undefined. That is, it just says "DaysBetweenCheckIns=", with no value after the equals sign. So that must be the problem.

I gather that if I assign it a value of 1, it will check in once a day. Can I assign it a value of, say, 0.5, to make it check in twice a day?

Thanks again for your help.

You could set the value to 0.5. But, 1 should be often enough. Why do you need to know the progress that often?

If I set DaysBetweenCheckins temporarily to say, 0.1, I would know within a few hours whether it was reporting. After I know it's reporting, I could set it to 1. But probably better just to set it to 1 and be patient. I'll do that.

p.s. There was a typo in my original post. Corrected part is in bold red, below:

4 [Test/Stop]
10 [Advance/Manual Communication]
Contact PrimeNet server automatically (Y): Y
Contact PrimeNet server now (Y): Y
Send new expected completion dates to server (N)
4 [Test/Continue]

And it will report immediately when it has a result, at least for LL.
