Frequently. Anyone who indicates that they are worthy of respect usually receives a respectful reply from Bob. On the odd occasion he misjudges them, and his misjudgement is brought to his notice, he invariably apologises --- or so I've observed over many years.

On the other hand, Bob rarely tolerates those who self-certify themselves as lazy and/or unwilling to learn.

I wrote a long post on R.D. Silverman as unbiased and truthful as I could be.
Luck is on his side as an unexpected power failure prevented me from posting
it so I have considered it a sign to drop the idea.

Well to sum up he is good to aspire too but not to imitate.

Also I wish he were as well educated as his learned qualifications.

My mind goes back to the time when he was at logger heads with You Xilman.
and the exchange was very heated and anything but a friendly one.
