Instant e-mail notification does not work anymore (I think).

Are you talking about the emails that are generated from a subscribed thread?

Edit: We tested and this feature is working. Perhaps the notifications are in your spam folder?

The same goes with me and I have to spend considerable time to scan the forum for new posted replies on my threads/posts. Since I post every day it becomes frustrating to remember which is what and where!

I would suggest that you use the tools provided. The "New Posts" tool works like a dream. See the attached image, if you are having trouble finding it.

Same problem here again. From Friday evening I do not receive no mails anymore.

We've tested it repeatedly and it works for us.

Can anyone chime in if they receive emails?

We forgot we receive hundreds of notices of mail that does not deliver each day. We have them sent to the trash automatically because of the volume so we forgot to look there to find the problem.

We think the problem is a lot of mail servers are rejecting mail from our IP address for some reason. Also, some of the mail servers are unable to be reached. If anyone is not receiving their email just let us know and we can tell you your email server's response to our mailing.

The following examples are repeated over and over:

Code:

<mfgoode's email address removed>:
Connected to 209.191.88.239 but greeting failed.
Remote host said: 553 Mail from 209.68.1.43 not allowed - [10]
I'm not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long.

Code:

<CedricVonck's email removed>:
Connected to 195.238.5.129 but connection died. (#4.4.2)
I'm not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long.

Thank you for the brain wave Uncwilly. This works better than instant e-mail notification and saves my memory in my account. I suppose it also saves a lot of botheration.

We've been told that the block on delivering mail to Yahoo addresses should be lifted sometime in the next week.

It appears the Yahoo block is gone. Are you all getting your email now?

There is an Earthlink block we are working on now.
