I wasn't sure on mine(I went to 2 threads a while back), I think I was around 158ms with 1 thread and it's now 75ms with 2. I wonder if it has something to do with the extra cache available with the additional core.

L3 is shared among all the cores, so in theory, threads shouldn't matter. (L2+L1 are per core, but they're also much smaller.)

I know when I went from 1 to 2 threads, I had 2 LL's waiting, and I was pretty sure they were a little over 2x as fast, but I had been running 2 workers with the 332M and the LL and when I noticed the speed up figured they had been fighting for resources. Also, back when I had a slower GPU in it, with 3 P95 workers running, the 332M was around 168-173ms.

A possible explanation, I believe both Dubslow and I are running OC'd machines(seeing how his has faster timings than mine running at 4.3GHz) while I remember you saying you have yours at stock speeds. I have not yet tested my system with 4 workers to see if an OC'd system has a greater slowdown (ie: resource starvation) compared to what you noticed on yours.

Hmm, I didn't run a benchmark on that high an exp, I was just going by what it is currently producing. Since it has 2 instances of mfaktc running in addition to the double threaded exp, might explain why mine is slower than yours while being higher clocked.

Hmm... while I am OC'd, I am only OCd with Turbo Boost. With my stupid motherboard I can't change the non-Turbo rating -- all I can do is up the Turbo ratios, which are at 38/39/40/41 for 4,3,2,1 cores respectively, as well as a base clock of 103 MHz. With all four cores active, I spend ~2/3-3/4 of my time at 38*103~3.9GHz, while the rest is spent at 3.4*103. That means with one thread, I should be hitting 4.2+ GHz, while with 2 threads the clock speed should be lower. Yes, I do run Advanced/Time without anything else using the proc. My memory is stock 1333 MHz stuff (dual channel of course).
