How do I run a benchmark with that exponent? When I select "benchmark" it starts right away without asking for an exponent. Also, is the result output to a save file? I cannot copy-paste from the prime95 window. Thanks.

Use Time instead of Benchmark. This does a timing for a specific exponent instead of a general test of all common FFT speeds.

No. You should be able to copy/paste using Edit > Copy Window. If you can't get that to work, you'll just have to type out any details you want to save.

You probably didn't notice it because this was from the 7 thread test, not the 8 thread one. The difference was very small at the scale and the 8 thread is probably actually a bit faster, but it still extrapolates to a 6 day difference in favor of the 7 thread.

Also, I know it's only been done off-and-on in this thread, but any time you're posting a lot of data like that, please wrap it in code tags so it takes up less room and makes the thread more readable.

Anywhere from 1506 to 417 days, depending on the number of cores. Still can't break the year mark. BTW - putting 4 cores on one task is about 11% inefficient.

I once had an old athlon 64 3800+ 2.4Ghz. You probably should try something not FFT based(just tf unfortunately) if you want to me most efficient. I upgraded to a Q6600 2.4Ghz and it tested twice as fast per core at the same clockrate. Newer AMD CPUs have solved this problem which was something to do with SSE2 being slow it think. Phenom I was partly solved and Phenom II and Athlon II have it completely solved.
