Don't get me wrong, I run AMD FX as well, doing DC. You might as well throw the higher power consumption of an FX (relative to Intel) at work which gets the most out of it. Besides, there is still the chance that DC will turn up the next Mersenne Prime. All work contributes to the project. It's just that some hardware does better at certain types of work. |

If you enjoy searching for factors and your AMD machine has a suitable (read: 4+ GB) amount of memory, you might consider putting it to P-1 work.
