In working on the size 101 sequences, I came painfully close to my first termination or merge:
1458280 dropped all the way to 7641200 at I2957...barely missed. ![]() I'm mentioning this here because when I loaded the factors it appeared to be a true merge with "something" because it immediately jumped up to 110 digits. Could it possibly have merged with a smaller sequence? I'm not sure how to do research on merges with sequences other than the lowest point of a particular sequence so could someone look into this? I do see that nearly all sequences < 10M have already been factored to close to 100 digits. So likely it "merged" with some work already done on 7641200. |
