Testing to n=600k is complete. I found 58 primes.

These k's are unreserved.

this will be a doublecheck then!

see NPLB Drive 12A and the NPLB-Project thread here.

please have a closer look at www.rieselprime.de for more details which k-values are worth searching for and not reserved/done by others.

Thank you for the information. I took my information from www.rieselprime.de but oops, I didn't realise that most k's were assigned to NPLB when nobody other had already reserved. So the up-to-date information is supposed to be in NPLB. But, for given k's and a given n range, is there a simple means to get it without having to browse through loads of messages ?
However I intend to send the PRP residue files as soon as I've finished the 3 k's. By default I would send it to you. Or should I send it to another (e.g. NPLB admin) ? Thank you.

Happy New Year and best wishes

Yves (aka Zuzu)

I'm trying to keep the data current, but the last months there's much work to do because of real life!

The RieselDatabase is the best place to find information of a special k and n-range done or reserved. See the data-section on the site for a k-value in mind. Most k's < 8000 are reserved by 3 projects. There're also pages for special n-values like n=666666 from PrimeGrid.

Another hint to find some info. is the Top5000 page where you can search for a k-/n-value or a special prime here.

If you need more tips, send a PM to me.

And it's ok, you can send your results to me.

Happy hunting!

Just sent you the residues in a separate email but forgot to mention I used LLR 3.7.1c
The results are as expected vs NPLB Drive 12:
For n from 50 to 200K:
- no prime for k=2081
- 1 prime for k=2231, n=115338
- 2 primes for k=2237, n=60356 and 75500.
