Yay! I've found a factor!
![]() My mother's computer had already found one (after running for a week or so on a 2.3 GHz Celeron). But this one was found by my old 533 Pentium III. I was away for a few days, escaping from Carnival. Then I come back home and find out that I've found a factor! ![]() Now the next milestone will be my first TF year (two months after joining GIMPS ![]() |

I've found 10^113-91227 to be the largest 113 digit brilliant number
Code:
N=99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999908773 ( 113 digits) SNFS difficulty: 113 digits. Divisors found: r1=135483731348216310599104139961914909156900674425643544869 (pp57) r2=738095998721668909879514364987164877946232346531808934017 (pp57) |

I flew an airplane alone for the first time. No instructor, just me. Me by myself up in the air in a Piper Tomahawk. From takeoff to landing. A very important milestone on the way to a pilots licence. ![]() |

Just a tiny milestone:
Three factors within two days last week (regular GIMPS work). Code:
prime fact Lucas-Lehmer residue or factor exponent bits [residues partially masked] date returned computer ID -------- ---- -- -------------------------------- --------------- ------------ 32502563 68 F 303723374777851789601 12-Apr-06 02:17 CDAEEBCD3 37179607 63 F 8801943678943323719 12-Apr-06 04:25 C06C5BF76 37245553 66 F 69854202931079955937 13-Apr-06 06:27 C06C5BF76 Last fiddled with by Andi47 on 2006-04-20 at 16:53 |
