Debian 10 "Buster" released

https://www.debian.org/. I have distro upgraded one box already. I have not seen any desktops yet however.

Did they add 64bit compatibility for ARMs?

There are 3 ARM versions, including arm64. I guess it won't be long it until somebody releases an image for R-pi 4B. There is an "unofficial" one for the R-pi 3B+. I will attempt an dist-upgrade on my Odroid N2 later...

Having had a complete failure at upgrading the N2 to Buster, I had start from scratch with Stretch (Debian 9). Oh boy, it takes a long time to do a linux install to a microSD card.

So I've noticed. I've done this several times recently, trying different distributions in an attempt to get ssh working on some Pi3Bs. I usually start the process and go do something else. I've used both the Disks (GUI) and the "dd" method under Fedora.

The fix was actually much more simple and timely than all the dd runs: reinstall openssh-server and all is well.
