Yes. You may be thrashing. Try choosing the Custom test and reduce the amount of memory Prime95 can use.

I've reduced the amount of memory from 415 to 320MB.
What does 'thrashing' mean? Bad RAM? Kim

Thrashing refers to the state when Windows is using 'virtual' memory (hard disk space used to simulate more RAM) a lot.

If you have an app that wants 120 MB to run and you have only 64 of real and 128 of virtual, there will be a huge amount of time spent put sections of data onto and off of the HD.
