I've noticed that Prime95 seems to slow down the Windows 7 Performance Monitor quite a bit, at least for me.
I tried to fix this by adding "PauseWhileRunning=perfmon" to prime.txt, but Prime95 does not seem to be able to detect it. I then found out that entering "perfmon" in the Start Menu actually calls perfmon.msc in the C:\Windows\System32 folder. When I launch Resource Monitor (perfmon.exe) from the Task Manager, Prime95 is able to "see" it. Does this mean Prime95 can't detect *.msc processes? Can this be fixed?
