Languages are like dialects of one synergistic "meta-language" that doesn't exist on its own. (Languages are borrowing semantic tricks from each other all the time.) There are many workplace situations where workers are encouraged to prototype in python (or, say, R), and once prototyped and debugged, move on to refactoring of the bottleneck segments in C. Trouble is that they will come in without fully shaking the python's idiosyncratic dependence on tabulation, and they will indeed frequently write some code like that.

So, that's a nice and timely addition, though they deliberately never mention python even once in that blog-piece. That's was clever on their part.
