Haven't done this yet, but what would happen if I deleted those files?

So I tried deleting the files mentioned above, and what do you know? It started working again. Guess it didn't like the null references in those files

Yes, deleting those files won't cause any difficulties. Once they have been read by factmsieve.py they are no longer needed and will be overwritten by the next siever run. In this case the sievers failed for some reason and did not write the correct output so the files were useless anyway. The fact that all four threads failed in the same way suggests something happened on the machine while they were running.
