This happened 10 days ago, but I don't think anyone has posted about it: http://lists.gforge.inria.fr/piperma...ay/000626.html

Stats, for those too lazy to browse the PDF linked from the announcement:
Sieve region equivalent to 16e. rlim = 500M alim = 800M 34LP, 2 large primes on rational side 3 on algebraic side 1.559G raw relations, 1.17G unique Matrix 127M x 127M at density 175 (not sure if "175 nonzero entries per row" is equivalent to msieve's target_density). q sieved from 800M to 3200M on algebraic side. yield 18.2 at 800M, 11.7 at 3200M (per special-q in range, rather than our usual "relations divided by q-range" yield stat) sec/rel 5.77s at 800M, 9.22 at 3200M on Xeon E5-2650 @2ghz, est 370 CPU-yrs sieving. Is CADO capable of a 17e-equivalent sieve region? |

CADO's 'nonzeros per row' is not equivalent to the target_density but it's close; their filtering doesn't ignore small ideals, so the count is pretty much exact.
